DetailsHere is an incredible antique bar siphon from the 19th century. The yellow-green bottle is in an original metal frame. This is a collector's item, very hard to find.
This allows not to break it but also not to be injured if the pressure is too strong.
It was only at the beginning of the 20th century that the ideal setting was found to eliminate this problem. Before that, we sometimes opted for metal cages like this to contain a possible explosion of the glass bottle.
It is engraved in two places Lutterbach, an Alsatian town famous for its old brewery.
On the system, it is noted: tinplate capsule Paris 1935.
It is rare and splendid! Only for Deco. The siphon system no longer works.
