Here are delightful big jars French brand La Lorraine of the 1940s. Its closing is complete, they still have their rubber in perfect condition. The glass has splendid green reflections and it is in perfect condition: no crack, no breach, nothing. Nickel! The metal of the closure is also perfect. It is not rusty at all. These jars have been preserved under excellent conditions.

The thistle drawing is typical: During the period from 1939 to 1947 the factory was occupied by the Germans and the activities of glassware were very limited. There remained only a meager production of bottles that were taken by the Germans, as well as jars, the famous jars "au chardon" recognizable with the design of this plant.

They are magnificent objects for a decoration of kitchen in the purest style French countryside. Its capacity is 1 liter (0.26 US liquid). You can place rice, pasta, sugar, sweets, but also old brushes for a shabby chic decoration.
