Beautiful antique white french tureen of Pexonne. This faience factory in Lorraine was part of the faience factory of Badonvilller. It is one of the oldest faience plant in Lorraine. It was founded in 1720. The FF logo stands for Fenal Frères, a logo used since 1857.
This delightful white tureen, both discreet and elegant date from the late 19th century. It is in perfect condition. A light hair with invisible lid and impossible to photograph.
The handles are splendid, they alone give all the style of this tureen with refined elegance.
It can be used as a decoration or inside small pots of aromatic herbs such as basil, mint, parsley. That's what I do at home with old soup tureens. It's splendid and very shabby chic.
We love!
