DetailsHere is a delightful vintage French carafe typical of the famous Pastis of the South.
Indeed, pastis Casanis was created in 1925 by Emmanuel Casabianca in Corsica, who then decided to cross the Mediterranean and settle in Marseille.
This double origin is now symbolized by the two coats of arms of Marseilles and Corsica.
Casanis is the only Pastis from Marseille resulting from the slow distillation of green anise and star anise, and the infusion of licorice.
This recipe gives Casanis its straw yellow color, its light and floral nose, and its subtle and fresh taste of green anise.
