DetailsHere is a splendid collection oysters plate of Longchamp faience. It dates from the end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th century. It is a true splendor with exceptional decoration. This model is extremely rare to find.
The plate is in very good condition. A few tiny shards on the plate (see photo) but very little visible and a gleam at the back (which is not seen at all).
The drawings are delicately made by hand. It's a real wonder. The ancient earthenware is beautiful in its white / vanilla color and touch.
These Longchamp oyster plates are now collected by prestigious tableware enthusiasts.
